About myself: It looks like I have to tell something original, imaginative and hopefully interesting about myself =) ahh.. the joys of the internet =) I struggled to think of what to put down so be patient as I stumble through this introduction. It was challenging putting things about yourself down for someone whom you have never met to get a vague idea of what makes you tickd also added in what I hope are a few extra nuggets on who I am. I must warn you that I make heaps of spelling mistakes when typing =) its a case of the brain working too fast for the fingers or so I would like to think =) Ok, now to move on to myself. I would describe myself as happy go lucky, though I can snap into a serious outlook when need be. But on the whole I like to take it easy on most things. My philosophy is the small things will kill you not the big things - if you allow it to. I am independent, but hate doing certain things on my own, especially shopping =) Am I a true friend? Well I will leave that to you to find out in time, and to the testimonies of the good friends that I have - they would be in the best position to answer that question =) Definitely not an angel, but I am not the devil either =) so I have bouts of good and not so good moments, which I would like to describe as mischief, but good natured ribbing mostly, and can take as good as I give - oh yes, I tend to laugh at my own jokes. Love travelling and do so as often as possible, but cant say that I have been everywhere. Love meeting people from various cultures, and interacting with them. I am a poet at heart and have in the past spent many hours writing poetry, I have to say that I love the written word, and well find it easy to be transported by good prose. Reading ensures that your brain stays active and that you are never alone. I read voraciously. A good book, a cup of tea, earplugs (I get distracted easily, a psychologist friend once said that I suffer from Attention Deficit Disorder) the beach under a shady umbrella or tree lying on a deck chair and with good company are to die for for me. Have spent more than one holiday in this manner =) great for destressing. As for dancing, well I like dancing, but it takes me a while to warm up, so I initially spend the first hour dancing on the inside =) Thinking of taking up some salsa classes, and begun to find out a few details, will probably be taking it up real soon as my next hobby. i dream of pleasant days, nice beaches and cool clear water. Enjoy all types of music, like Sting, led zepp, he cranberries, pink floyd, jim morrison. radioheads, U2, and believe it or not Robbie Williams (but we will keep that to ourselves OK =) and heaps of others too, it all depends on the mood and what I am doing at that time. I do love animals, have a dog, and we go for a walk of at least 45 minutes everyday, so yeah I love walking too. I have an excellent family. My parents are cool, and extremely nice, and I have been blessed by many things through their love and support. I am looking to find my best friend in my life partner - it is as simple as that. That would be fantastic. It is a search that has begun in ernest, as I have spent the last couple of years focusing on my career. an adventrous spirit is definetely high on my radar as well, simply because, I like doing things and love having conversations.
