About myself: Don't like talking abot myself, but I guess I kinda have to. I'll start with the obvious: I'm a soldier and thus far a one time veteran of the Iraq war. The most meaningful time of my life was spent working the beat in the town of Tarmiyah, twenty miles north of Baghdad city limits. I'm glad that I was able to be part of a solution to a serious and complicated problem, and that I left it a better place than when I came.

The Army and Iraq have been the best things that ever happened to me, but I try, to have a life outside of it. I enjoy routine exercise consisting of body weight calestinics and long distance jogging. I like watching movies and try to see a new flick each week. I'm descent at swing dance, though I haven't done it in a long time. I'm a serious news and politics junkie, who enjoys learning about the issues of the day and our perspectives about them. And a Christian man... or I guess I'm "Christian lite". It doesn't define me, but acknowledging the Almighty certainly has it's place in my life.
