Many people today do not know the difference between Islam and Christianity. They say:
- We believe in one God. Muslims also revere Jesus, Mary, the prophets, and the difference is only in the ritual. This two-way to one God.
One such worker even came to the point that said, as if about who is right in a dispute between Christians and Muslims, whose faith is true, we will know only after death. But let's see whether this is so? After all, as we have said already, that the Muslims after his death will go to hell. With what is related to a heavy sentence as the word of God, addressed to the followers of Mohammed?
Indeed, in the dark all cats are gray. But let's turn to the sources of the two religions - the Bible and the Koran - to find out whether one God are Christians and Muslims.
According to the Koran, Christians, who said, "Christ - the Son of God," are worthy of disgust: "The words in their mouths like the saying of those who disbelieved before. Let Allah strike them! Until then they are turned away! They want to put out ... the light of Allah with their mouths, but Allah will not allow option but to complete its light, though the polytheists hate it "(Koran. 9, 30, 32).
According to the Bible, "Whoever denies the Son has the Father also" (1 Jn. 2, 23). Thus, for the Bible (which requires listening to Muhammad - see the Koran. 2, 79 (85), 3, 2 (3)), Muslims - are actual atheists. They stayed the wrath of God (John 3:36). They even before the Court condemned, because they have not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God (John 3:18) and do not honor the Father who sent Him (John 5:23).
Obviously, if the scriptures describe as representatives of other religions, these two beliefs simply can not be the same! Someone is right - or Christians or Muslims - but not both religions. And then stoit consider that Muslims formally recognize the Bible (although it is considered distorted), and Christians have always rejected the Koran as a record of the false, demonic prophecy of Muhammad. After receiving the form of revelations Muhammad could not be interpreted otherwise than madness.
First, a spirit who introduced later the angel Gabriel to Muhammad as a huge creature standing on the horizon, bending one leg. Wherever I tried to turn away unhappy, he was always in front of him. Then, the spirit attacked Muhammad and began to choke him, forcing him some revelation. He said: "Read!" And he replied: "I do not know." But the spirit squeezed him so hard that Muhammad disobeyed and spoke words that have become the first five verses (verses) 96 verses of the Koran. When the second time I saw the spirit of Muhammad, the horror of it all covered with sweat, and his wife gave him a blanket, so he does not catch cold. This is how the 74 sura of the Koran. Is at least one of the true prophets received revelations that? Is the Creator would torment his creation? So do only evil spirits. No wonder many noticed the identity of the calling of Muhammad with a dedication to the shamans.
Yes, and the founder of Islam after this vision has decided that it possessed an evil spirit, and that he was crazy. And while the spirit is not even tried to disabuse him of this. He was not comforted Muhammad, as did the angels, being and Daniel, and Zechariah, and other prophets. Apparently, this creature likes to scare people. Subsequent revelations also bore the stamp of ill-health and the forces of evil. Muhammad himself said: "Sometimes they come to me in the form of ringing the bell, and I have a very hard, in the end, it stops ringing, and I remember everything I said. Sometimes an angel appears before me and says, and I remember everything he said, "Aisha (his wife) said:" I was a witness when the revelation came to him in a very cold day, and when it stopped, the whole of his forehead was perspiring " (Ibn Sa'd. Tabaqat. V.1). Other witnesses said that at the revelation of his face became red and he was breathing heavily, and then released from it (Sahih al-Bukhari. V.6.).
Orthodox Church fathers are well acquainted with such conditions. This is a lovely, terrible delusion, accompanied by possession by evil spirits. The Bible says that "Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light, and therefore are small thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness" (2 Corinthians 11:14-15). It is clear that the fruit of the action of the fallen angels can not be compatible with the true revelation of the Creator. All the more clear to us the falsity of the Koran, if you remember the words of the Bible: "Even if an angel from heaven should preach to you is not what we have preached unto you, let him be accursed" (Galatians 1:8). And here is exactly what it was. He came to some unbaptized person (not protected from the forces of evil does) a angel, said he was from God, and preach the doctrine was contrary to both the Old and New Testament. The same is not convinced of the authenticity of messengership does your teacher for their pride trusted him, and so there was Islam! Is it possible to somehow evaluate the teaching, rather than as it assesses the Church? And note that we have not relied on pamphlets enemies of Muhammad, and on his own words and the testimony of his friends! So nobody can accuse us of bias.
But it is necessary to clarify the question on the merits: Allah God of the Christians and the Muslims - the same person or not? After all, not every creature that calls itself God is not. Is multi-armed Shiva the Destroyer - God, though, and calls himself one? Yes, in many languages the true God is called differently. Yes, the name "Allah" - a form of obschesemitskogo "Elohim" (the name of God the Creator). Indeed, in pre-Islamic Arabia that name was called Creator of the world. But now, can we say, Allah - God of the Christians, as is often said? Spies often hide behind false names, but they recognize as envoys of the enemy. Also see not hidden behind a beautiful name envoy enemy? After all, as has happened before, when there was idolatry. - The fallen spirits posing as gods themselves, and demanded worship.
The first obvious difference is that the Orthodox faith: there is one God in three persons - God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit, not three Gods, but One, because all three persons have the same essence, will, power, kingdom and one source of the Godhead - the Father (Matt. 28:19). Allah Muslims alone, he is not born and not born. This alone makes it clear that we believe in different gods.
If we compare the attributes of God and the Christian God, we can see that, of course, these creatures are quite different from each other, and there is no way to identify them.
According to the Qur'an, Allah mocks those who do not believe and reinforces their delusion (Koran. 2, 14 (15)). He took them light (Koran. 2, 16 (17)) and "misleads whom he wants, and guides whom He wills" (Koran. 35, 9 (8)). "If he wanted to, they did not betray him, fellow" (Koran. 6, 107), but he does not do so, because "Allah misleads whom he wants, and is the right way, who wants" (Koran. 74, 34 ). Thus Allah for Muslims, on the one hand - the immediate cause of all human actions, both good and evil, but He also punishes people for what He made him do it. Of course, the deity of Muslims goes absolutely immoral and tyrannical. He was "plotting cunning" (Koran. 86, 16), because "Allah - best of all schemers" (Koran. 47 (54)). "He cheats" (Koran. 4, 141 (142)). He changes his will (Koran. 13, 39). He does not have the omniscience (Koran. 3, 136 (142)).
If we compare it with the God of Christians, we see their absolute difference. The true God "can not be tempted by evil, and he himself tempts no one. But one is tempted when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed "(James 1:13-14). "He is the Rock, His work is perfect, and all his ways are justice. Let God be true, and no unrighteousness is in Him, and He is just and true "(Deuteronomy 32:4), for He is holy (Psalm 98:9). "God is humane and merciful, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy and truth, keeping mercy and truth" (Exodus 34:6-7). The Lord says, "I do not want the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live" (Ezekiel 33:11), because God "desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth" (1 Timothy 2:4) .
He has "no changes and shadow of turning" (James 1:17), for "God is not a man that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent if he would say, and not do it? Will speak and do not make it good? "(Num. 23, 19) He" knows everything "(1 John 3:20).
As we can see, Allah Muslim - tyrannical, unjust, not omniscient, cunning, fickle. He does not like the Christian God, who is love (1 John 4:8), holy, righteous, immutable, omniscient. Certainly, Allah - is a real idol, built in the mind of Muhammad, a parody of the true God. Of course, if we do not believe in the same God, religion, these are incompatible.
As a consequence, different and our faith in Christ. For the Orthodox, Jesus Christ - is the eternal Son of God who became man for our salvation. He - One Person, existing in two natures, true God and true man.
For Muslims, Jesus Christ - the only one of the prophets, distinguished from others by virgin birth from Mary.
Home glory of Christians - the belief that the crucifixion on the Cross, Christ has redeemed us from sin, damnation and eternal death, and His resurrection, He gave a three-day resurrection and all of us. We believe that Christ's resurrected body ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father, and as the person controls the universe. From heaven the Lord Jesus returns to resurrect all the dead and judge everyone according to their works.
Muslims believe that Christ did not die, but God exalted him to one of the lower heavens. He did not save, and returned to Earth, will have to die, though, and will then take part in the trial of the resurrection. For Muslims, Mohammed above Jesus Christ.
Christians know that the uncreated power of the Holy Spirit pours into people through the sacraments, the first of which - an epiphany. Man cleared of the original death inherited from Adam and all personal sins. Salvation is not the merits of the person, and by the grace of God which is given in the Sacraments, absorbed through faith and good works. The man is transformed and becomes a son of God by grace.
Muslims consider the normal state of man, and go to heaven expect their business. They refused the gift of God - Baptism, and therefore remain in their sins. Nobody protects them from the devil, and the only way to the Kingdom of God, they have rejected (John 3:5).
Christians revere the Virgin Mary as the Mother of God, Queen of Heaven, the highest of the angels and archangels. It is our Intercessor before God, and we ask her for help.
Muslims believe the Virgin Mary a prophetess. According to the great ignorance of Muhammad believed her sister of Moses, who died 1500 years before Christ. Of course, they do not honor Her Virgin, because they do not believe Christ God. The intercession of the holy Quran is denied. And why Muslims do not pray to the Virgin, but at the level of the remnants of Christianity here and there to treat her in sickness.
Christians revere as the greatest saints - martyrs, who for the name of the risen Christ came to die, showing that the Lord's power. They - witness the victory of the Son of God over death.
Muslims revere as martyrs "martyrs" killed in the Holy War - those who are wrong, in their view, to Allah.
Christians revere the Holy Cross as an altar on which our salvation is accomplished. Cross - the sword, cleaving snare of the devil, the glory of the angels and the victory over sin. We dedicate all of the cross, and so avoid the demonic machinations.
Muslims reject the life-giving Tree and consider him an idol. In the conquered their lands, they were often forced to shoot Christian crosses from churches. Instead, the sign of victory over Satan, they worship the black stone in Mecca, believing it (one of the versions of their mythology) petrified angel.
The Orthodox venerate icons as evidence of the authenticity of the Incarnation, by which the saints have become like God We paid homage honor is not wood and paint, but those who are depicted in them. We know that the Creator creates through the holy image of many miracles to show His favor to them. The Bible has established the veneration of icons in the Old Testament (Exodus 25, 18-22, 26, 31), and we obey the voice of the prophets.
Muslims are blaspheming icons, calling them idols, though they likewise try to dishonor Iblis, throwing stones at the side of the cliff.
Christians obey the successors of the apostles - the bishops and priests, knowing that the Holy Spirit sanctifies them through the Orthodox. They believe that Christ is the head of His Church itself acts through priests.
Muslims, not having communication with the Creator, are proud that they have no priests, and because they depend on the opinions of scientists interpreters of the Koran. So preposterous to believe if there is a "right" or "wrong" Islam. If Muslims observe the five pillars, they may themselves be considered correct.
Orthodox waiting for the kingdom of heaven, where the righteous will shine like the sun. They will enjoy the contemplation of the Creator, who is the Father for them, and they - his children. The main thing is our joy - in the contemplation of God, and in conjunction with him.
Muslims are waiting for coarse material paradise, where they are expected carnal pleasures (including aesthetic, "gastronomy" and "sexual" properties). Any opportunity to connect with the Creator fiercely rejected by Muslims, except for the Sufis. But they also believe that people meet God, he disappears and dissolves in Him.
Is it just the opposite of religion to be "one of two ways to the top," as many say? No, it's necessary to choose between a revelation of God himself made man who has saved us and His blood and the testimony of some of the spirit, nothing gave his followers, but to return under the yoke of foreign law.
